Sindh government bans sheesha for two months
KARACHI: The Sindh government has imposed a two month ban on the smoking and selling of shessha under section 144.
According to a notification issued by the Sindh Home Ministry, sheesha was banned due to the health risks associated with it and the growing number of youth who were smoking it.
The provincial government had already imposed a ban on sheesha smoking previously which had ended a few days ago.
According to sources within the provincial home ministry, laws are being formulated to ban substances which are injurious to health.
